Eselfontein Outdoor Getaway is a working farm and adventure destination outside Ceres, set across 2,500 hectares of orchards, farmland, fynbos and mountain country below the Skurweberg and Matroosberg ranges. The farm is especially well known for its mountain-biking heritage, outdoor activities and peaceful group accommodation.

Accommodation includes a self-catering guesthouse for up to 10 guests and rustic Eco Huts beside the farm dam, with the facilities booked exclusively to one group at a time. The guesthouse offers WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, braai facilities and a hot tub, while the Eco Huts provide a simpler off-grid experience with solar lighting, open-air bathrooms and shared boma facilities.

Outdoor experiences include mountain biking, hiking, jogging, birdwatching, fishing and water activities around the farm dam and Titus River. Eselfontein has long been one of the Ceres Valley’s best-known MTB destinations, with purpose-built single-track and a strong adventure focus.
