    The course consists of eight ziplines covering approximately 1.4 km, with individual slides ranging from around 100 to 290 metres in length. Guests are fitted with full-body harnesses and safety equipment before two trained guides lead the group through the mountain course.

    Ceres Transport Riders Museum tells the story of Ceres and the surrounding valley through transport, community history, natural events and the people who helped shape the region. Established as a local museum in 1978, it has grown into a community-focused heritage space preserving and sharing the diverse history of the Ceres area.

    Exhibitions cover the transport riders who played an important role in the development of Ceres, historic wagons, the internationally significant 1838 Ceres meteorite fall and the devastating 1969 earthquake. Visitors can also learn about the area’s earliest inhabitants, the Galant rebellion, local Jewish history and the forced removals experienced by Ceres communities during apartheid.

    The museum also runs educational programmes, cultural tours and community projects throughout the year, making it both a visitor attraction and an active centre for preserving and sharing local heritage.

    Bike Forge is a one-of-a-kind biker-friendly destination at De Heuvel Estate outside Tulbagh, built around a love of classic motorcycles, good food and relaxed country hospitality. What started as a collection of old bikes has grown into a popular meeting place for riders, families, groups and anyone looking for something a little different in the Tulbagh Valley.

    Visitors can explore the motorcycle museum, enjoy hearty pub-style food and drinks at the bar and restaurant, or settle in for live music and regular events. The collection includes classic motorcycles dating from the 1950s through to the 1990s, giving the venue a distinctive nostalgic character.

    Bike Forge also offers glamping tents and a small campsite among the fynbos, with mountain views, braai facilities and space for larger groups by arrangement. Private functions, conferences, weddings and celebrations are also catered for, making Bike Forge as much an events and getaway venue as it is a food stop.
