Alcove Coffee Roastery is an independent speciality coffee roastery and café in a beautiful 1930s building in the heart of Ceres. What started in 2017 as a mission to bring better coffee to farming communities has grown into a welcoming local space built around small-batch roasting, good food and a strong sense of community.
The café serves freshly roasted house blends and rotating African single-origin coffees, alongside breakfasts, light meals and local baked treats. Alcove’s coffee is roasted on site, making it a worthwhile stop for anyone who appreciates proper coffee and wants to experience a genuinely local Ceres roastery.
Guests can also stay on the property in a private self-catering apartment with WiFi, air-conditioning, a kitchen, terrace and free parking. This makes Alcove a slightly unusual but very appealing combination of coffee destination and intimate Ceres stay.
